S59:A18

Today’s thought for the Day comes from: (Al Qura’an) “S59:A18”, In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful! “O’ You who believe! Fear Allah and let every soul consider what it has Sent forth for tomorrow. And Fear Allah; Allah is All -Aware”.

It is a rule of the Qur’an that whenever the hypocritical Muslims are taken to task for their hypocrisy, they are given admonition also so that whoever of them has some life left in his conscience, may feel remorse for his conduct and attitude and may make an effort, out of the fear of Allah, to come out of the pit into which his worship of the self has thrown him. (Please read This whole section (S59:A18 to24) which consists of such admonition.)

Fear of Allah is akin to Love, for it means the fear of offending Him or doing anything wrong that will forfeit His good Pleasure. This is Taqwa, which implies self-restraint, guarding ourselves from all sin, wrong, and injustice. Positive side of Taqwa is not merely a feeling or an emotion; it is an act, a doing of things which becomes a preparation and provision for our life Hereafter. (See also S2:A2)

Act for the Day is: To understand “Fear of Allah” & “Sending Forward for Our Tomorrow”. Allah SWT observes both our inner motives and outer acts, and in His scheme of things everything will have its due  consequences.

Let our Soul fear to do wrong and let it do every act of righteousness. JazakAllah Khair.

I Love My Creator, He is Unique, He is One, He has NO Partners. "Allah! There is No God except Him, The Ever-Living, The Sustainer of all that exists. Neither slumber overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in The Heavens and the Earth. Who is the one who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them. And they do not encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of both of them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."
